Rubber Colon Tube

36fr. X 30 inches long

Rubber Colon Tubes are more comfortable to use for receiving an enema than the rigid enema nozzles.
Especially if not inserted more than a few inches

These tubes come in a variety of sizes anywhere from of 14fr. to a 48fr. and from 20 in. too 60 in. in length.
The 14fr. is a small diameter of about a quarter of an inch in diameter.
The 48fr. diameter to is approximately three quarters of an inch in diameter.

The 48fr. colon tube is very uncomfortable to insert into the colon the full 60 in. its large diameter makes it stiffer and hard to make it around the bends in the colon.

Plenty of lubrication along with relaxation and patience is required when inserting a colon tube.  You only lubricate a few inches at a time, you insert that then lubricate a few more inches.  You repeat this process until you have inserted the desired length of colon tube.
