
| Proctoscope's are tapered from about ¾ in. to 1 ½ in diameter at the
widest point and 3 1/2 inches long They are made of clear plastic so the anal/rectal wall can be clearly viewed. And when inserted into the rectum stretches the anus to approximately an inch and a half in diameter. The instrument is well lubricated and inserted into the anus to view for any possible abnormalities on the rectal wall. With this instrument inserted into the rectum they have a good view of internal and external hemorrhoids or any other abnormalities. |
