Never inject anything into your colon hotter than 115°Fahrenheit.
This is one of the most cramp producing enema solutions I have ever used. Remember that 103° Fahrenheit is a good temperature (that is about 39.5° Celsius). One of the most powerful enemas that I have experienced is the "milk and molasses" enema ("M&M,"). Use equal amounts of milk and the "blackstrap" variety of molasses (it is a strong-flavored type often used in baking). You won't need a large volume; a pint of each would be sufficient. Put the milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil, then add the molasses, remove from heat, and stir thoroughly. The molasses being added will reduce the temperature somewhat and when the mixture cools to about 103°, it is ready to administer. Enema Recipe: 16 oz.of warm molasses and 16 oz. of warm milk. 103°Fahrenheit You can use this 1 qt. of solution by itself or you can and 1 qt. of warm water to the enema bag for a full 2 qt.enema. Mix the milk and molasses together in a saucepan on the stove then add it to the enema bag Next, add water if desired to the bag adjusting the temperature to 103° Fahrenheit. Never use these if you are lactose intolerant. Directions: When having a normal bowel movement or releasing an enema: The best position for expelling your enema is squatting over the toilet not sitting on
it. The squatting position puts pressure on your abdomen from your thighs. It is best if you place a Welles Step and then squat down over the toilet to release your enema.
Effects: Caution: As with any enema in which a
food product is used they tend to produce a tremendous amount of gas in the intestinal
tract. |
Warning: Do not use enemas
or laxatives if abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by your
health care provider.
Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative or enema may
indicate a serious condition.
Discontinue use and consult your health care provider.
