Irritable Bowel Syndrome  [ IBS ]

Are suffering from constipation, diarrhea, or both, abdominal pain, bloating, or heartburn more than once a month, you are not alone. Irritable Bowel Syndrome (also called IBS) affects at least 25 million people in the US.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS is not just annoying. It also causes tremendous health damage. It can lead to malnutrition and obesity or weight imbalance. It will increase toxic substance in your body. It will damage the beauty of your skin and hair. To have a good life and beautiful body, you need to take care of your gastrointestinal health first.

Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is a diagnosis used by doctors about people who have continuous and/or recurring pain in their colon. Symptoms may vary , although most people have a change in bowel function (diarrhea or constipation), cramping, gas and/or bloating. It is the most common disease diagnosed by gastroenterologists (doctors who specialize in medical treatment of disorders of the stomach and intestines), Irritable bowel syndrome can be referred to as spastic colon, mucous colitis, spastic colitis, nervous stomach, or irritable colon.

The colon is stimulated by nerves and hormones. People with IBS have a sensitive colon which spasms with only mild stimulation that would not affect a healthy colon. There are a variety of ways the spasms are triggered: the wrong food for your metabolic type, food allergies, caffeine, stress, hormones, environmental allergies, supplements, or an overgrowth of organisms in the gut such as Candida albicans and Blastocyst hominis. While doctors may prescribe medication or laxatives to slow or stop the symptoms, It only suppresses the body’s efforts to clean out the irritation and does not address the true cause.
People have a hard time changing lifestyle or even believing that diet has anything to do with how there body feels. With Irritable Bowel Syndrome changing the foods you eat is key. A favorite analogy of mine is, “You don’t put soda in your car and expect it to run, do you?" And yet, we all put similar stuff in our bodies day-after-day and year-after-year, and expect them to run without complaint.

There are several types of enemas that can help if you have IBS. In the enema recipe section you will find several types that will be of benefit to you.
Many times people with IBS find that a simple warm water enema will help relieve their symptoms almost immediately.
Use Any type of enema that is soothing to the colon.

Warning: Do not use enemas or laxatives if abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by your health care provider.
Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative or enema may indicate a serious condition.
