| Home Colonics are save, easy and comfortable to use. Many people use enemas as an alternative to home colonic irrigation. Although many think that an enema is not quite as thorough as colonics. Home colonics are designed to flush the entire large intestine, from the rectum all the way to and including the cecum. Colon irrigations allow you to lie on
your back in a much more comfortable position so you can relax and massage your
abdomen. The Colonic equipment allow the ease of a one-time insertion and continuous
evacuations without the removal of the tip. The Proctel Tip used for home colonics is very small in diameter
compared to enema nozzles. This small diameter tip allows fecal material to pass around
the outside of the tip into the toilet. Some people get irritated anal tissue
from repeated nozzle insertion during enemas. The tip used for professional colonic
machines is a very large diameter speculum that the water and fecal material flow through
rather than around. A 5-gallon
home colonic bucket of filtered water and/or solution is dispensed into the colon
without getting off the home colonic board to expel. Any evacuation material drops
into the toilet. The procedure normally takes of about 1 hour to use a 5-gallon
container of warm filtered water for solution. You can refill the bucket as many times as
you need to completely clean the entire colon. Many users find that it takes several
5 gal. buckets to completely clean the intestinal tract. |
