| Many people find that they can cure a fecal impaction with an enema. Their are a couple of enema recipes (list for enema recipes) that can be used to accomplish this purpose. A fecal impaction is feces that has had most of the moisture removed from it, causing it to become hardened in the rectum. The best way too cure a fecal impaction is inject a small retention enema of oil. By injecting 4 to 8 oz. of oil ( olive oil, vegetable oil, mineral oil ) into the rectum and holding this solution for 30 to 60 minutes, should soften the feces enough to produce a bowel movement.The longer you hold it the softer the feces. Then take a simple High warm water enema and hold it for 5 to 10 minutes. This second enema should produce the results that you require.
