Enema ?

| Enema ! Many people have heard
the word (enema) and pretty much know what it is and does.
Years ago enemas were a commonplace practice in homes and hospitals throughout the world.
Today however they are not as widely practiced as they once were which is a real shame.
When we say Enema we mean a simple warm filtered water enema of approximately 2 qts.
Not one of those small chemical enemas that could possibly be harmful to the industrial
lining.
This very simple procedure has helped billions of people throughout the world to a better
state of health!
It is the easiest, fastest, simplest way to relieve constipation!!
Like everything in life there is probably a multitude of reasons that the enema is no
longer used as much as they should be.
If I had to guess the reasons that enemas are not as popular today as it were in years
past would be that the pharmaceutical companies that make laxatives and chemical enemas. Laxatives and chemical enemas is a 3 billion-dollar
year business in the United States and the pharmaceutical companies don't make any money
from people using a simple warm water enema. That and
the cost of giving an enema in the hospital or doctors office. An enema takes
approximately 30 to 45 minutes of a nurses time to prepare and administered to a patient
and cleanup. |
Warning: Do not use enemas
or laxatives if abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present unless directed by your
health care provider.
Rectal bleeding or failure to have a bowel movement after use of a laxative or enema may
