Douches can help many women feel clean and refreshed. The most obvious time for douching is after menstruation.
But you can use it at other times as well. For nervous tension, to clean away contraceptive jellies or creams,after intercourse, to wash away built up secretions that cause odor, or anytime to feel clean and fresh.
Douching with a yogurt solution can help the vagina maintain a balanced pH factor plus have a clean fresh smell.

Myth: Douching after intercourse can prevent pregnancy.
Fact: No. Douching or bathing even immediately after intercourse has no effect because the sperm has already traveled up toward the egg.

It is important to change tampons and sanitary pads very regularly. Although internal vaginal cleaning with a vaginal douche is a common practice, we do advise douching after intercourse and when you have an "intimate complaint". After douching, the cervix is clean, the cell debris that has been collecting and the surplus of micro-organisms from an infection are removed.

It is very very important to apply correct toilet habits, e.g. in wiping with toilet paper women should always wipe from front to back and not from back to front.
This avoids the spread of micro-organisms like yeast from the bowels into the vagina. Both inadequate and bad vaginal hygiene can cause unnecessary growth of undesirable micro-organisms in the vagina
