| Castile bar soap is a gentle soap that is made with olive oil or coconut oil. It can be used to cleanse the colon. Castile soap is a mild irritant inside the colon so be sure to follow up with a water enema or a salt-water enema. ( You can generally find this type of bar soap in your supermarket. |
Enema Recipe: Take the bar of castile soap shave or dissolve approximately 1/16 of the bar in a 2 qt. container of warm filtered water. Mix well. Then add this mixture to your enema bag, make sure that the solution has not cooled below 103°Fahrenheit. Now you're ready to administer or receive your enema. Temperature 100° to 105°Fahrenheit Directions: When having a normal bowel movement or releasing an enema: The best position for expelling your enema is squatting over the toilet not sitting on
it. The squatting position puts pressure on your abdomen from your thighs. It is best if you place a Welles Step and then squat down over the toilet to release your enema. |
| Liquid Castile Soap can be used to enhance the cleansing of the
colon. The soapy solution causes an irritation to the intestinal lining thereby causing stronger reactive contractions in the colon. After using a liquid soap solution, you should always follow up with a couple of simple water enemas to remove the soap residue on the colon walls to prevent further irritation. You can purchase Castile soap in 0.3 oz. (9ml) packets. This packet combined with 2 quarts (1.7 liters) of water to make a good enema solution. Bottles of Castile soap solution, many of which have herbal additives are available in most health food stores. !! Never use dishwashing liquids or detergents for your enemas they can harm the delicate intestinal lining!! Remember to keep the enema temperature at about 103°Fahrenheit (about 39 degree Celsius) give or take 1 or 2 degrees Fahrenheit (1 degree Celsius). Then add this mixture to your enema bag, make sure that the solution has not cooled below 103°Fahrenheit. Now you're ready to administer or receive the enema. These soapy enemas are definitely harder to take and hold than a plain warm water enema. No matter what type of enema that you take you should try to hold it for a few minutes so it has a chance to do its job ( 5 to 10 minutes should be sufficient ) |
