approximately 12 to 14 in.in length, and is located between the cecum
and the transverse colon. This is the part of the colon that needs to be filled and distended with solution to an insure a complete cleaning of the colon. This can be achieved with a good enema of 2 to 2 1/2 quarts of warm water. |
